Aer Lingus to start Las Vegas flights from October 2024
Ireland's national flag carrier, Aer Lingus* has said it will start flying to the fun-filled city of Las Vegas*, Nevada from 25 October 2024.
The route, which will operate three times per week, will run until 29 April 2025, including next year's Easter holidays.
A plus for those travelling with Aer Lingus from or via Dublin is the US immigration pre-clearance at Dublin Airport, which allows passengers to arrive in the USA* like domestic travellers and avoid lengthy border queues.
Aer Lingus Chief Executive, Lynne Embleton, said: "Aer Lingus is bringing this iconic destination to customers seeking an escape to the winter sun."

Aer Lingus to reinstate Connecticut route from March 2023
Aer Lingus has announced that it will reinstate its transatlantic route from Dublin* to Hartford*, Connecticut from 26 March 2023.
The route, which was suspended due to the pandemic, will operate aboard the airline's Airbus A321neo and run until October 2023.
Lynne Embleton, Aer Lingus Chief Executive, said: "The restart of the daily flight into Bradley International Airport is the only direct service to Europe, reflecting Aer Lingus's ability to connect UK and European customers with North America.
"Aer Lingus is forging ahead with its North American expansion plans, growing the number of transatlantic routes from its Dublin hub."
Aer Lingus to launch Cleveland route in May 2023
Aer Lingus has announced that it will launch a new route between Dublin and Cleveland*, Ohio from 19 May 2023.
The route, which will operate four times per week aboard the airline's Airbus A321neo, will be Europe's only direct service to the city in Ohio.
It offers those in the UK the chance to connect via Dublin from Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Bristol, Southampton and Leeds Bradford.
Travellers from Dublin* will also be able to take advantage of the Unites States' pre-clearance immigration before boarding, allowing them to enter the US like a domestic arrival.
Aer Lingus's chief strategy and planning officer, Reid Moody, said: "This is a significant announcement for Aer Lingus as we deliver on our ambition to grow our transatlantic network.
"The new service to Cleveland not only provides a direct connection to Ireland but connections to over 20 popular European destinations via our Dublin hub."
