New Norwegian airline Flyr to connect Edinburgh with Oslo
A new Oslo-based airline, Flyr, has released details of its first direct route to the UK with flights between the Norwegian capital and Edinburgh set to commence from 8 April 2022.
The young airline, which launched in June 2021, will operate the route twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays. Fares start from around £37 one way.
The service to Scotland is one of five brand new routes the fledgling airline is set to launch in spring when it receives six new Boeing 737 MAX jets. Other destinations include Billund in Denmark, Pisa in Italy, Prague in the Czech Republic and Stockholm in Sweden.
