1. Think ahead

While spontaneous buys from excellent deals can make you feel like a Black Friday winner, there's no harm in planning ahead so you can search for deals that relate to any upcoming trips.

Going to a wedding abroad next year? Perhaps there's a special anniversary coming up, a big birthday or you just know you really really want to go to a specific destination.
